First Day Home

Readership, friends and family...

Today was my first day home and what a day it was. We even stopped by this food place with a big red and yellow M on the way home. The fresh intoxicating aroma of a quarter pounder with fries filled my nostrils with sheer delight...

Oh what familiar joy! Me and mommy used to enjoy this all the time.

But wait... I'm stuck with this milk formula... What a reality check! I was hoping Dad would slip me a fry or two behind the car seat when mom's wasn't looking... But no such luck.

We finally got home and I was being such a good boy that mom said I could be the easter bunny. Yay! I'm so excited!

Update:
I guess I got too full of myself because mom took my easter bunny status away. Said something about me causing trouble and being a bad boy...

I'm sad.

Now I can't be the easter bunny. This can't be happening... I GOT to be the easter bunny! What should I do?

I Got IT!
I know how mom is such a sucker for some baby cute-ness. I didn't wanna do this, but I gotta play my trump card. We'll see tomorrow if it works or not.

Hey who cut the lights on???

The lights have always been on you say? Oh so this is what it's like to open your eyes... I'm surprised how I was able to keep this blog up with my eyes closed for so long. I guess I'm just gifted like that...

Oh, the surgery? Yeah, it was a breeze. The nurses numbed me really good down there and Dr. Wagman took good care of me. Did I mention she's the best? Hey I see it... nice work doc! Ok I know, TMI TMI...

What's going on with Dad tonight? Here I am trying to get some rest after that near traumatizing experience and all I hear from Dad is stuff like ... "YEAH", and "Get em Bass", and "They don't want it!", "I see ya Dirk!"... Oh the Mavs must be playing! I know he was trying to be quiet but sometimes he gets carried away with it. Oh I see the TV now... It says:

Dal 100 NO 92

Dad is in a good mood tonight. I am too! I think I might start watching the mavericks play with Dad. It looks like fun... and you know wherever fun is, I got to be a part of it!

Speaking of Louisiana, I hear my parents talking about my Nana from Atlanta coming down to stay with me for a while. I'm excited. I can't wait to see her and have her spoil me too! Auntie Tiff lives there too. She's the bomb! I heard they really set it out for me a couple weeks ago when they put together my baby shower. I got all kinds of cool stuff. Oh you didn't know? Set it out, means umm... went above and beyond... or giving the VIP treatment. You get the picture. I love them already.

I know what you're thinking...and you're right. My love and affection can be bought.
...

and I'm not ashamed.

Thank you all for the cool stuff by the way. I really like it!

I think we're going home tomorrow...Yay!!!

Coping...

I wanted to pose and give you a cute little picture today but right now, I'm just not feeling it.

I got a lot on my mind. Yeah I know what you're saying...Still what I got going on today is enough to stress a young fella I tell ya. Let somebody snip snip on your you-know-what and see how you cope with it. Dr. Wagman, if you're listening, take it easy on me k?

Pray for me yall. I'm going in.

Oh what a day

Nana Sadie came to visit me today. She says she has been waiting on me for years. She was excited, I was too! Is she gonna spoil me too? I think so. She says my Daddy's Grandmother Freddie Mae Richardson spoiled him too.

This is a picture of me, Nana Sadie, and Felecia who is one of my Mommy's nurses works with Dr. Wagman. She's good! I mean go-far-beyond-the-call-of-duty good.

Later on tonite, my Doctor Wagman dropped by for a quick minute. She's one of the best Drs around. If it weren't for her... well I'm here now so you can tell she is very special to us! Thank you Dr. Wagman...although my Mommy and Daddy say I'm not going to be too happy with you tomorrow! Here's a picture of her taking a break from talking about Mommy's pregnancy with me and how bad it was. Hey I wasn't that tough on you Mommy....was I?

And of course, here's Elliott & Elliott, Father and Son, E2 & E3.

The good ol days...

When I had a steady diet of all things delicious...and could sleep all day.

Me, Mom, & Dad... eating Good at Hibiscus

After Mom got out of the hospital and before I rearranged their lives forever (or atleast for the next 18 years they tell me), Dad took mom to a nice restaurant. Me and Mommy had Steak!

The next day, Mom and Dad went all over Dallas....walking, riding, and just enjoying each others' company. They say it's the simple things like that which keeps them both happy.

Here's me and Mom again. She sure is pretty. Dad has good taste!

Day 2 in the life of me!

I'm just about 2 days old now and boy am I tired. My Godpappy Orlando came to visit me yesterday. I like him. He even has a funny looking moustache but he's a cool dude. Him and Dad were looking at me and kept saying future frat... I don't know what that means but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough.

Me and Mom are bonding really well. She's in a bit of pain right now but through all that, she still has the time to give me all the love I need. I love my mommy! I love my Dad too. He was telling me that we're gonna have to do something really special for mommy's first Mother's Day.

Aunte Danielle is my Godmommy. She's real nice I like her too. She kept saying how she's gonna spoil me...Doesn't spoil smell bad?

People have been calling about me all day today. I can't wait to meet everybody so I can do my cute song & dance show. After that, I might crack a smile or wink. I love the reaction i get out of people when I do that. I was born for the stage.

Headed back to sssssssleep, taaalk to y...
